This Summer term we will be making our final steps towards the Early Learning Goals -

End of Reception Early Learning Goals (ELG)

As part of our topic ‘In The Dark’ we created a mini bonfire and learnt a firework poem off by heart - whizz, bang, can you hear them too?

In Reception we LOVE many things - here are some of the things we LOVE!

We love learning - we understand that play is a vital ingredient! Through play children make progress with their language, creativity, social skills, emotional well-being and cognitive development. Our ever-developing indoor and outdoor provision areas allow children to practice their new ideas, take risks, show imagination and begin to solve problems on their own or with friends.

We love reading - we read stories as a class every day. We are working really hard to learn all our sounds and blend words together.

Please READ everyday with your child!

We love our parents - our parent's are so important to our learning! It is very important that they read with us every day and keep up to date with the Tapestry app to see what we are doing.
