This term we are learning about "Holidays" and "The Great Outdoors", the children will be looking at different types of holidays including camping holidays, beech holidays, and safari holidays.
The Department for Education published a document 'What to Expect, When?' This document outlines to parents what you may see your child do at different stages of their Early Years from birth to 5. It will give you a taste of what we are doing at school to support your child's learning and also has some great suggestions as to how you can help your child at home. Most children in the class are currently working on phase 3 of phonics please help your child to transfer there phonics knowledge into independent writing by sounding out words phonetically with them. Children are becoming secure with adding and taking away numbers to 20 please continue this learning at home.
